Bewl Bridge Rowing Club is located within the picturesque grounds of Bewl Water Reservoir, eight miles south east of
Tunbridge Wells.
Bewl Water offers more than 4km of spectacular uninterrupted water for rowing and sculling. Club members have access to a comprehensive range of Club boats, a dedicated rowing pontoon and private boat storage.
Founded in 1977, we are very much a 'Club for all’ with a great positive and supportive atmosphere. We currently have approximately 190 members, from age 12
upwards. We have a large Junior squad, and thriving Ladies, Men's and Masters squads, all supported by a strong team of volunteer qualified coaches, launch drivers and helpers. New members are
always welcome, whether recreational or competitive.
We regularly 'trailer' to local and regional regattas. Club members currently represent Great Britain at both rowing and sculling and have achieved Regional and National
success in both disciplines.
