Bewl Bridge Rowing Club is located 40 miles south of London on the Kent / East Sussex border. We are based within the picturesque grounds of Bewl Reservoir which is the largest area of inland water in the South East of England. The Reservoir is star shaped which not only offers sheltered water in all wind directions but up to 3,500 m of uninterrupted rowing. Facilities available to club members include changing rooms with hot showers, coffee shop and a bar. The club has approximately 150 members ranging from ages 11- 77. There is a competitive Ladies and Men's squad along with a thriving Veteran contingent. Although the club is relatively small we have have several members who have represented their country at rowing. We have been very successful on both the domestic circuit and at a National Level. In recent years we have competed at the World and European Veteran championships gaining medals at both rowing and sculling. New members are always welcome. For further information please browse through our Web Site or contact any member of the Committee. If you have any comments on the Web Site please contact the WebMaster.
